Gigabyte Anticipates Revenue Growth and Doubled Server Capacity Amid AI Boom

Server manufacturer Gigabyte reported record-breaking first-quarter revenue of NT$105.057 billion, a 60% year-over-year increase, driven by a 110% growth in AI server sales. The company's EPS reached NT$7.86. Anticipating continued strong demand for computing power, Gigabyte plans to expand its global production capacity. New facilities in Taiwan will be completed by Q3, and expansions are underway in the US, India, Malaysia, and Brazil. Total capital expenditure for the year is estimated at NT$2.5 to 2.7 billion.
