Gadjah Mada University Rector Visits Taiwan to Promote Collaboration with 10 Universities

Invited by the Ministry of Education, Ova Emilia, the Rector of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in Indonesia, led a delegation to Taiwan to foster academic cooperation with 10 local universities, including National Chung Hsing University and National Chengchi University. UGM, Indonesia's oldest national research university, aims to expand exchanges in medicine, STEM, and agriculture, while exploring dual-degree programs. Indonesia is currently the second-largest source of international students in Taiwan, with 18,740 students enrolled. The Taiwanese government continues to support this relationship through various scholarships and academic agreements.
