FT: Saudi Arabia Proposes Non-Aggression Pact Between Gulf States and Iran

The Financial Times reports that Saudi Arabia is discussing a proposal with its Gulf allies to sign a non-aggression pact with Iran, modeled after the 1975 Helsinki Accords. The aim is to manage post-war regional security and foster economic cooperation. While European countries support the idea, there are internal divisions within the Arab world, notably from the UAE, which favors a tougher stance on Iran. Saudi Arabia also backs Pakistani mediation to end the US-Iran conflict.
