(Central News Agency, Taipei, 14th, Reporters Yu Hsiao-han, Chiang Ming-yen) Eyeing the peak season of the domestic summer travel market, Taiwan's two major amusement parks, Leofoo Village and Lihpao Land, announced today a joint effort to launch a buy-1-get-1-free combo ticket priced at NT$999, hoping to drive growth in park attendance.

According to statistics from the Tourism Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, the total number of visitors to tourist amusement enterprises in 2025 was 17.96 million (including theme parks and surrounding hotels, shopping malls, etc.).

To seize the upcoming summer vacation business opportunities, Leofoo Village Theme Park and Lihpao Land Resort held a press conference today to announce a strategic cooperation, launching a dual-park joint ticket from May 15th to 31st, hoping to boost the number of theme park visitors this summer.

Lai Chen-jung, President of the Leofoo Tourism Group, pointed out that due to the trend in domestic travel, the domestic market has seen a decline of about 10-20% since last year. Therefore, they chose to cooperate with Lihpao Land this year, hoping to turn a competitive relationship into a cooperative one and expand the tourism market.

Lai Chen-jung stated that the goal is to increase the number of visitors to the water park from 90,000 last year to around 180,000, and to reach 460,000 visitors for the entire summer period. In the future, they hope to build a platform to cooperate with peers and other industries to expand Taiwan's tourism market.

Chen Chih-hung, Chairman of Lihpao Land Resort, said that the two amusement parks have different resources and hope for more levels of cooperation in the future, allowing tourists to have two amusement experiences with one purchase and more choices.

The dual-park joint ticket launched by the operators is valid until the end of September. Tourists only need to purchase a ticket for one of the parks to receive a ticket for the other. (Editor: Chang Ya-ching) 1150514
