TaiwanICDF Helps Diplomatic Ally St. Lucia Transform Tourism, Building a Resilient Industry System

To diversify the tourism industry in Caribbean ally St. Lucia, the TaiwanICDF has promoted the 'Local Industry Operation and Guidance Project' since 2023. On April 29, the inauguration of the third guided community, Babonneau, took place. Taiwanese and St. Lucian officials attended the event, highlighting the shift towards 'community tourism.' This initiative, part of Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung's 'Allied Prosperity Project,' empowers local micro-enterprises and helps St. Lucia build a resilient industry by converting cultural sustainability into economic value.
