CISA: Emerging AI Accelerates Cybersecurity Threats, Urges 3-Pronged Defense

The Administration for Cyber Security (CISA) under the Ministry of Digital Affairs warned that emerging AI models like Claude Mythos Preview and GPT-5.5 possess advanced vulnerability detection and attack capabilities. CISA proposes three response measures, including mastering defense tools and formulating national strategies. It strongly advises enterprises and government agencies to enhance their cybersecurity resilience from three perspectives: strategy, management, and technology. Organizations must shift their focus from mere prevention to quick recovery, emphasizing offline backups, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and prompt vulnerability patching to mitigate AI-driven cyber threats.
