Academia Sinica's Center for Digital Cultures pointed out in a press release today that it is launching the 'Summoning of Myriad Images' online event, featuring four popular science digital exhibitions jointly created by three major academic divisions.
The 'Summoning of Myriad Images' online event, based on the concept of a fantasy world, combines generative AI and interactive design. It allows the public to choose different 'magic runes' to start a personalized exploration journey through the 'Open Museum' exhibitions, traversing diverse themes from ancient civilizations to natural ecology.
Academia Sinica also mentioned four new popular science digital exhibitions spanning humanities, ecology, and the universe. These include the Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics' compilation of the well-received 'Astrophysical Bulletin,' which uses translated research results and astronomical images to traverse the galaxy and gaze at black holes in the cloud. The Museum of the Institute of Ethnology presents the 'Rukai Daily Life: The Aputwane House in Shenshan Tribe' digital exhibition, where the research team interviewed the Aputwane family, the chief's family of the Rukai tribe in Wutai Township, Pingtung County, detailing the house, family, and memories, presenting a life story interwoven with family and tribe.
