The Taichung City Fire Bureau received a report at 5:19 AM this morning about a fire at a male dormitory at Tunghai University, located on Section 4, Taiwan Boulevard, Xitun District, and immediately dispatched firefighters and vehicles.
Firefighters stated that the scene was an 8-story building, with smoke emerging from a 6th-floor balcony. Upon arrival, the fire had already been extinguished by on-site personnel using fire extinguishers, and no one was injured.
