Taipei, Taiwan (Central News Agency, May 13) — Taiwan stocks fell 523.82 points today, closing at 41374.50 points, with a transaction value of NT$1.203812 trillion. The three major institutional investors, namely foreign investors and mainland Chinese capital, investment trusts, and proprietary traders, showed net selling by foreign investors and proprietary traders, while investment trusts showed net buying, with a combined net selling of NT$48.05 billion.
