After she temporarily left her seat around 1 PM that day, she returned around 3 PM to find her water bottle, originally on her desk, had been moved elsewhere. Upon opening the water bottle, she discovered an unknown liquid had been added. She then requested library staff to retrieve surveillance footage and reported the incident to the police.
Police investigation by reviewing surveillance footage revealed that at 1:46 PM that day, a 30-year-old male, surnamed Hong, with long hair tied in a ponytail and wearing a mask, approached the female student's seat, took her water bottle, and returned it at 1:48 PM before leaving immediately.
Preliminary forensic examination by investigators from the Xinzhuang Precinct confirmed the presence of human bodily fluids in the water bottle, which deeply disturbed the female student. She subsequently filed a sexual harassment complaint with the police station.
