International oil prices were mixed amid stalled Middle East peace talks.
The London FTSE 100 index rose by 60.03 points, or 0.58%, closing at 10325.35 points.
The Frankfurt DAX index rose by 181.88 points, or 0.76%, closing at 24136.81 points.
