They will do their best to rescue the man down the mountain tomorrow.
The Taitung County Fire Department and volunteer firefighters dispatched two teams today to rescue from two different locations. The Taitung County Fire Department announced in the evening that they successfully delivered food to the trapped man using technological equipment this morning. The man is currently conscious and his vital signs are stable.
As of 4 PM, the search and rescue team had reached about 200 meters above the trapped person, but due to the steep terrain, ropes must be set up to traverse.
