(Central News Agency reporter He Hsiu-ling, Taipei, 12th) New drug company Yuanshang Bio is expected to be listed on the over-the-counter market in early June. Yuanshang Bio General Manager Ho Cheng-hung stated that focusing on core assets such as the bispecific antibody new drugs IBI302 for ophthalmology and AP505 for oncology, these have already become licensing and commercialization targets of market attention. Benefiting from the advancement of new drug R&D progress, the goal is to complete at least one licensing deal per year within the next three years, starting this year.

Yuanshang Bio held a media exchange meeting today to explain the progress of its core products and international market layout. Among them, IBI302 targets the markets for wet age-related macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema. It completed its Phase III clinical trial's primary efficacy endpoint in March this year and will subsequently advance toward drug application and international market layout.

Another core product, AP505, is a PD-L1 × VEGF bispecific antibody. Its Greater China rights were licensed to China's Tasly Pharmaceutical Group in 2019, and it is currently advancing through Phase II clinical trials in China.

He stated that Yuanshang Bio has independently established the T-cube bispecific antibody platform, and currently has advanced multiple proprietary products such as AP203, AP402, and AP601. Among them, AP203 is a bispecific antibody product independently developed in Taiwan and undergoing clinical trials in Taiwan; AP402 and AP601 have moved to Australia for clinical development, demonstrating the company's integrated independent R&D capabilities from antibody design, screening, CMC (chemistry, manufacturing, and control) process to clinical development.

In addition to the oncology field, he stated that Yuanshang Bio recently announced a collaboration with U.S. Delos Capital to jointly enter the autoimmune disease market, planning for areas with high unmet medical needs such as atopic dermatitis. This reflects the gradual expansion of global bispecific antibody applications from the oncology field to the autoimmune disease market. (Editor: Chang Chun-mao) 1150512
