A man in his 20s nearby immediately jumped in to rescue him, but unfortunately, both drowned and went missing. Police and firefighters were alerted and dispatched personnel for search and rescue. No trace was found on the water surface. After continuous searching upstream and downstream of the wharf, the drowned elderly man was found at 9:15 AM, but he had no breathing or heartbeat.
