(Central News Agency reporter Yang Szu-jui, Tainan 12th) Tainan City Government is promoting the "One District, One Characteristic Park" initiative, revitalizing the space under the 182-line road bridge in Longqi District to establish an all-ages inclusive playground. It combines local bamboo imagery, natural terrain, and forest environment to create a "Tree Cube Rest Facility," fostering a mountain town characteristic space.

Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-che attended the inauguration ceremony of the Longqi District all-ages inclusive playground today and stated in his speech that the Longqi Characteristic Park makes good use of the shaded space under the 182-line bridge, becoming a unique park with a cool environment. The park integrates bamboo imagery, natural terrain, and the surrounding forest environment, allowing parents and children to play without worrying about sun exposure, and to experience the mountain town characteristics of Longqi amidst birdsong and greenery.

Huang Wei-che pointed out that Longqi possesses rich natural landscapes and cultural heritage. The revitalization of the under-bridge space into an all-ages inclusive playground not only increases local recreational facilities but also helps connect surrounding trails, story halls, and the soon-to-be-renovated former Longqi Village Chief's Residence, gradually forming a more complete leisure and tourism corridor.

He said that in the future, visitors to Longqi can also visit Huxingshan Park, explore the former Longqi Village Chief's Residence, and taste local agricultural specialties such as free-range chicken, pineapples, and bamboo shoots, arranging a short trip that combines family recreation, cultural tours, and rural gourmet experiences.

The Longqi District Office provided information stating that the playground design incorporates Longqi bamboo shoots and characteristic landscape imagery, creating a "Bamboo Shoot Theme Play Area." It also utilizes the site's elevation difference to install a closed tube slide, creating a forest-crossing play experience. At the same time, considering the activity needs of elderly people, a loop walking path is set up, providing a safe, comfortable, and barrier-free walking space.

The District Office explained that the engineering design specifically considered the microclimate of the area, leveraging the "through wind" advantage under the 182-line bridge, and installing a fully mortise-and-tenon wooden "Tree Cube Rest Facility" to provide shade and rest space for parents and elders, also enhancing the overall environmental landscape quality.
