(Central News Agency Reporter Pan Chih-yi, Taipei, May 12) Optimistic about the AI server market and the demand for copper clad laminate (CCL) resin materials used in printed circuit boards (PCBs), Swancor Holding Chairman Tsai Chao-yang stated today that the corresponding CCL epoxy resin materials have been sent for customer certification. The first phase of the new electronic materials production line is expected to be completed by the end of this year, and the second phase by the first half of next year.

Swancor Holding held an investor conference today. Chairman Tsai Chao-yang pointed out that the new electronic materials production line will be able to provide customers with high-end CCL substrate epoxy resin materials. As for whether they will be recyclable materials, it will be adjusted according to customer needs, and the actual shipping volume will not be clear until next year.

Swancor Holding announced that its net profit attributable to owners of the parent company for the first quarter of 2026 was NT$0.013 billion, with earnings per share (EPS) of NT$0.13.

Swancor Holding President Tsai Hsiao-te said that the first quarter was a relatively low point for the entire year due to fewer working days during the Lunar New Year, but the company's transformation direction has not changed. In recent years, Swancor has actively developed towards high-value-added industries, with new businesses such as AI robots, circular economy materials, and aerospace composites gradually entering the stage of results transformation, which will become an important driving force for the company's medium- and long-term growth in the future.

Chairman Tsai Chao-yang stated that the layout of new businesses is currently progressing simultaneously. Among them, AI robots have gradually moved from technical verification to field applications; circular economy materials have benefited from global net-zero and green energy trends, with market demand continuously increasing. The company will continue to strengthen material technology and system integration capabilities to enhance product added value and market competitiveness.

Swancor stated that with the official announcement of the offshore wind power Phase 3-3 selection mechanism, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), localization, and circular sustainability have been included as key evaluation points. Swancor's circular material technology and applications promoted in recent years are also regarded as an important layout for entering the next stage of the green energy supply chain.

Swancor stated that the aerospace composite materials business continues to advance. With the increasing demand for global low-altitude economy and aerospace applications, the company is actively developing high-end composite materials and lightweight technology, and gradually expanding into high-value-added application markets.
