The Communist Party's official newspaper, People's Daily, today published an article signed "Zhong Sheng," stating that the Taiwan issue is a red line between China and the United States, and China's repeated emphasis on this red line is to make the US understand China's principled bottom line, avoid misunderstandings and misjudgments, and prevent conflicts and confrontations.
