According to a message from the Luzhou Precinct of the New Taipei City Police Department this evening, a traffic accident occurred on the Danjiang Bridge around 8 PM tonight. A 42-year-old man surnamed Gao, driving a yellow-plated heavy motorcycle, was traveling towards Bali on the Danjiang Bridge. He allegedly failed to notice the conditions ahead, resulting in a collision with a private car driven by a 25-year-old man surnamed Zhang.

The police stated that this should be the first traffic accident after the opening of the Danjiang Bridge. Mr. Gao sustained minor abrasions and received on-site dressing before seeking medical attention on his own. The police swiftly handled the situation and restored normal traffic flow.
