(Central News Agency reporter Tseng Jen-Kai, Taipei, 12th) Nanya announced today that its board of directors has resolved to dispose of 19,385 shares of its subsidiary Nanya PCB from May 13 to December 31. Based on Nanya PCB's closing price of NT$900 today, the transaction is valued at an impressive NT$17.447 billion.

Currently, Nanya holds 393,974 shares, representing a high ownership ratio of 60.97%. Nanya stated that the purpose of this disposal is to replenish working capital and enhance the liquidity of Nanya PCB's stock. The actual sale has not yet occurred, and the final disposal price and amount will depend on actual transaction conditions.

Nanya had previously announced in early March that its board resolved to dispose of 19,385 shares of Nanya PCB from March 12 to December 31. Today's announcement marks the second wave of the disposal plan. Prior to this, Nanya PCB also announced on May 5 that its major shareholder Nanya would transfer 5,959 shares, which Nanya stated was part of the first wave of the disposal plan.

Nanya Chairman Wu Chia-Chao recently stated that Nanya's investments in Nanya PCB and Nanya Technology, which are involved in ABF substrates and memory, are expected to benefit from the current AI wave, with promising prospects. Nanya's disposal action is mainly in response to feedback from many investors over a period of time, hoping that Nanya can adjust its investment holdings.

On the other hand, Nanya considered its high shareholding ratio in Nanya PCB and Nanya Technology, hoping to increase the outstanding shares of Nanya PCB and Nanya Technology through appropriate disposal actions, which can also boost Nanya's own cash flow. (Edited by Lin Chia-Hsien) 1150512
