May Taiwan Stock Index Futures Fall by 274 Points

(Central News Agency, Taipei, 12th) The Taipei stock market closed up 108.26 points today at 41898.32 points. May Taiwan Index Futures closed at 41695 points, falling 274 points, showing a backwardation of 203.32 points compared to the spot market.

The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference prices for index futures contracts for the past two months as 41969 points for May futures and 42080 points for June futures.

The Taipei stock market closed up 108.26 points today at 41898.32 points, with a transaction value of NT$1.378984 trillion.

May Taiwan Index Futures closed at 41695 points, falling 274 points, with 72,412 contracts traded; June futures closed at 41818 points, falling 262 points, with 1,823 contracts traded. The actual closing prices are subject to the announcement of the Futures Exchange. 1150512
