Formosa Television reported that Foxconn's Wisconsin plant in the US recently experienced a large-scale IT system anomaly, causing some production lines to cease operation. The ransomware group Nitrogen Ransomware posted a message on the dark web, claiming to possess over 8TB of Foxconn's confidential data, exceeding 11 million internal files.
The report cited foreign media and messages posted by Nitrogen Ransomware on the dark web, stating that the leaked data not only involves general corporate documents but also a large amount of highly sensitive technical information. The attackers claimed the data content involves several global technology companies such as Apple, Intel, Google, NVIDIA, and Dell.

Foxconn stated in November 2025 that it had invested over US$2 billion in Wisconsin over the past several years, including salaries, capital expenditures, and taxes, and created approximately 1,500 jobs, investing in server production to strengthen Wisconsin's position as a hub for advanced manufacturing, security, and data infrastructure.
Foxconn announced in late November last year that its operational incentive program for Wisconsin over the next four years had been approved by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC).
