Central News Agency (CNA) — Taipei, May 12 — FIT Hon Teng, a subsidiary of Hon Hai, announced that its cloud and data center business will experience strong growth this year. It will deepen its cooperation with AI server companies and continue to expand into emerging applications including humanoid robots and satellite communications, while driving continued growth in its automotive business in the era of electrification and software-defined vehicles.

FIT Hon Teng released its first-quarter performance on May 11. Single-quarter revenue reached US$1.198 billion, an 8.6% increase from US$1.103 billion in the same period of 2025. First-quarter net profit was US$10.44 million, a 67.3% increase from US$6.24 million in the same period last year.

Looking ahead to this year's operations, FIT Hon Teng projected in its 2025 annual report that its cloud and data center business will maintain strong growth in 2026, further increasing its contribution to total revenue. FIT Hon Teng noted that AI-related business has been expanding over the past three years, and this structural growth momentum is expected to continue, with the goal of establishing inseparable cooperative relationships with AI server companies.

In cloud network infrastructure, FIT Hon Teng explained that it continues to deploy high-speed connectors and develop cable modules, establish core optical communication component technology, and deepen cooperation opportunities with major chip manufacturers to enhance applications in optical interconnectivity.

Regarding its automotive sector strategy, FIT Hon Teng stated that by launching the One Mobility brand, it is accelerating its transformation into a supplier of automotive power and data solutions. Through expanding its global manufacturing footprint in the USMCA region, Europe, and Asia, it is actively building cooperative relationships with world-class automakers and Tier 1 suppliers, driving continuous growth in the era of electrification and software-defined vehicles.

FIT Hon Teng explained that its German subsidiary Auto-Kabel possesses technological advantages in high-voltage electric vehicle systems. FIT Hon Teng has expertise in automotive wiring harnesses. By integrating the resources of the German One Mobility business team and leveraging its strategic partnership with the Hon Hai Group, it is seizing opportunities in the electric vehicle market and responding to the evolving demands of electric vehicles and autonomous driving.
