Chung-Lei stated that the business opportunities for broadband equipment upgrades continue to heat up, and it is expected that full-year revenue growth is promising, driven by market demand.
Chung-Lei's gross profit margin for the first quarter was 13.7%, with a single-quarter operating income of NT$490 million, a year-on-year increase of 36.4%. The consolidated net profit attributable to the parent company for the first quarter was NT$300 million, with EPS of NT$1.01.
Chung-Lei stated that benefiting from the vigorous development of AI artificial intelligence applications and the mainstream adoption of new broadband services such as video streaming entertainment and smart IoT, the telecom broadband market demand is strong, driving business opportunities for basic equipment upgrades.
Chung-Lei pointed out that the global broadband network has entered a new era of speed competition. To meet the demand for emerging broadband services, telecom operators are accelerating the upgrade of user-side equipment to further expand their operational scale. Chung-Lei's products include Cable DOCSIS 4.0 equipment for cable TV, 10G PON fiber optic equipment, WiFi 7, 5G fixed wireless access equipment, commercial network communication equipment, etc., with strong customer order demand.
Chung-Lei added that in recent years, in response to market trends, in addition to its original main products, it has actively entered new market areas. New products such as edge AI smart monitoring devices and DAA distributed central office equipment have shown significant results in meeting the operational needs of telecom customers with diversified products, effectively contributing to revenue.
