The police have accepted the case and are investigating according to law.
According to surveillance footage provided by the public, a male driver, around 2 PM on May 6, went to a gas station in Zhubei to refuel. The female gas station employee was on standby by the fuel pump according to standard operating procedures, but the male bus driver suddenly reached out and touched the female employee's shoulder and body parts. The female employee immediately resisted with her elbow.
In response, Zhubei Station Chief Yao Chi-hung stated in a media interview that upon receiving the report, they immediately accepted and reported the case according to regulations, and will proceed with the investigation according to law. He also called on the public to respect others' bodily autonomy and refrain from any harassing behavior.
The bus company's personnel stated in a media interview that the company takes this case seriously. Upon receiving the complaint, they immediately reported it to relevant units according to regulations, suspended the employee involved, and simultaneously initiated internal investigation procedures.
