Observing the six major municipalities, Taipei City showed positive growth across all three property taxes.

Liu Hsun-jung, Deputy Director of the Department of Statistics, Ministry of Finance, stated that real estate-related tax items in April showed mixed increases and decreases. Increases and decreases varied across counties and cities. Among the six major municipalities, Taipei City and Taoyuan City saw larger increases, with annual growth of 35.3% and 27.9% respectively, mainly due to an increase in large tax payment cases. New Taipei City and Tainan City saw larger decreases, with annual declines of 18.9% and 23.8% respectively.

Liu Hsun-jung explained that the net collection of land value increment tax for the first four months was NT$22.2 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 11.3%. Taichung City, New Taipei City, and Kaohsiung City saw larger decreases. Taipei City was the only one of the six major municipalities to show an annual increase, with 8.8%.
