The FSC disclosed the performance of banks in the Kaohsiung zone. Shih Yi-chun pointed out that the banks in the zone have 3,736 high-net-worth clients, and their AUM reached NT$455.9 billion.
Among the four major businesses conducted by the 21 domestic banks in the zone, first is wealth management services, with 357 clients; second is credit and lending services, with 2,314 cumulative disbursements; third is family office services, with 139 cumulative cases; and fourth is cross-border financial services, assisting in opening 1 overseas branch account.
Regarding external concerns about the FSC's direction in promoting a special asset management law, Wang Yun-chung, Deputy Director of the Banking Bureau, stated that various approaches are currently being collected.
