(Central News Agency reporter Tseng Jen-kai, Taipei 11th) Apparel manufacturer Zhen Da Global today announced its first-quarter financial report. Revenue was NT$1.889 billion, a year-on-year increase of 25.2% and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 5.2%. Net profit attributable to the parent company was NT$329 million, a year-on-year increase of 15.4% and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 40%. Earnings per share for the single quarter reached NT$4.81.

Zhen Da Global stated today that the increase in first-quarter performance was mainly due to strong shipment demand from e-commerce clients. Zhen Da Global is a major knitwear supplier for Amazon, benefiting from Amazon's AI-powered precise recommendations and the growth trend of the influencer economy, which drove up shipments.

Zhen Da Global pointed out that under the influence of tariff policies and geopolitical risks in the Middle East, global supply chains are undergoing restructuring. Brand clients are accelerating the diversification of their production layouts, and the importance of Zhen Da Global's production base in Madagascar continues to increase. The new ESG factory in Madagascar is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year, which is expected to add momentum to future operational growth.

Regarding the recent conflict in the Middle East, Zhen Da Global stated that client demand has not been affected; instead, there have been successive inquiries for order transfers from places like Egypt and Jordan.

Looking ahead to the second quarter, Zhen Da Global stated that with major sporting events such as the World Cup taking place in the second quarter, it is expected to drive global sports trends and market buying interest. From the latest operational data, April revenue was NT$801 million, with a year-on-year growth rate of 37.3%, continuing the growth momentum of the first quarter.

Functional fabric manufacturer Jun Bang-KY today announced its April revenue of NT$214 million, a month-on-month increase of 29.6% and a year-on-year increase of 4.2%, setting a new historical high for single-month revenue.

Jun Bang stated that the record high April revenue was mainly due to the intensive shipment period for winter products in the outdoor and skiing sectors, coupled with the continued strong demand from key clients in the sports sector, and the simultaneous increase in volume from new client project orders, further boosting overall operational performance.

Jun Bang observed that several international brand manufacturers are significantly increasing their efforts in new project development to enhance market share and adapt to changes in consumer demand. They not only require products with higher functionality and comfort but also place greater emphasis on suppliers' comprehensive capabilities in design development, rapid prototyping, flexible supply, and quality stability. Jun Bang is expected to benefit from this. (Editor: Chang Chun-mao) 1150511
