Reuters reported that Trump quickly rejected Iran's demands yesterday, raising concerns that the 10-week-long conflict would drag on, with shipping in the Strait of Hormuz remaining paralyzed.

Speaking about the current state of the ceasefire, Trump said: "After seeing the pile of garbage they sent us, I didn't even finish reading it. I would say now is the most fragile moment (for the ceasefire)." Trump said the US-Iran ceasefire is 'relying on life support.'

Washington recently put forward a proposal aimed at restarting negotiations. Iran responded yesterday, demanding an end to the war on 'all fronts,' including Lebanon. Israel continues to fight Hezbollah, an armed group supported by Iran, in Lebanon.
