(Central News Agency reporter Pan Chih-yi, Taipei, 11th) Tatung Company today announced its consolidated revenue for April was NT$4.139 billion, the second highest for the same period in nearly eight years. However, due to the power and new energy business being affected by client-specified delivery dates, April revenue decreased by 3.5% year-on-year and 2.87% month-on-month. Cumulative revenue for the first four months benefited from the good market response to new Mini PC products in the electronic manufacturing services business, reaching NT$15.627 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.34%.
Tatung explained that the heavy electrical business unit of its power business group maintained stable shipments. Due to sales of transformers to Taipower's Da'an substation, April revenue reached its highest single-month level this year, growing over 30% year-on-year. The motor business benefited from the massive demand for AI chips and continuous expansion by major semiconductor manufacturers, receiving large batch orders for medium-sized motors, boosting performance in the second half of the year. Concurrently, electric vehicle motors received additional orders, contributing to revenue.
Tatung stated its active development of AI technology businesses. Its subsidiary, Tatung System Technologies, benefited from the rigid demand for enterprise AI computing infrastructure and AI Agents, maintaining stable double-digit growth in April revenue. This included delivering large-scale equipment upgrades and building core system architectures for the financial industry, and recognizing revenue from digital empowerment projects in the manufacturing industry, integrating AI applications into core operational processes.
Tatung System Technologies pointed out that its cumulative consolidated revenue for the first four months achieved a high year-on-year growth rate of 24.74%, demonstrating strong operational growth momentum. Meanwhile, Tatung Healthcare, a subsidiary that signed a strategic partnership agreement with ITRI Biomedical Engineering Center in April, will lead the standardization and cross-system integration of Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), an international medical database standard, to establish a foundation for medical data interoperability, connect AI technology, and penetrate the home smart care market.
