Taichung Wagor International School searched by investigators for breach of trust, temporarily listed as 'he' character case

(Central News Agency reporter Zhao Liyan, Taichung, 11th) Wagor International School in Taichung City was searched by investigative authorities on the 8th. The Taiwan Taichung District Prosecutors Office stated today that the case is being investigated as a 'he' character case, primarily for breach of trust, and no one has been listed as a defendant yet. The school stated that all administrative and teaching operations are currently normal.

Regarding whether the case is related to previous allegations that high-ranking school officials received kickbacks under the guise of renovating school buildings, the Taichung District Prosecutors Office did not comment, only telling a Central News Agency reporter that it is currently being investigated as a 'he' character case for breach of trust.

A 'he' character case primarily refers to cases where it is not yet clear whether a specific person is suspected of a crime; a 'zhen' character case refers to cases where, after investigation, a specific person is found to be potentially involved in a crime.

The school stated in a written press release that judicial authorities entered the school on the 8th to carry out procedures. Based on the non-disclosure principle of investigations, it is inconvenient to further explain the details of the case, and subsequent information will be based on judicial authorities' announcements.
