Starlux Airlines saw a 30% year-on-year increase in April, marking its strongest April and third-highest monthly revenue.

Tigerair Taiwan's self-reported revenue for April was NT$1.65 billion, a 27% year-on-year increase, setting a new record for the same period in history. This was mainly due to a 15% increase in flights driven by the Qingming holiday and the cherry blossom season, with an overall average load factor of nearly 90%, a 5.4 percentage point increase year-on-year.

Tigerair Taiwan's cumulative flights for the first four months increased by 15% year-on-year, with a cumulative average load factor reaching a high level of over 91%. Cumulative operating revenue was NT$7.19 billion, a 21% year-on-year increase, setting a new record for the same period.

Tigerair Taiwan's first-quarter revenue and profit both set historical records. First-quarter revenue was NT$5.538 billion, a 19.6% year-on-year increase, and net profit after tax was NT$1.335 billion, a 41.6% year-on-year increase. Earnings per share (EPS) for the first quarter was NT$2.91.

Facing fluctuations in energy and aviation fuel prices (MOPS) caused by geopolitical factors, Tigerair Taiwan stated that it has implemented comprehensive operational cost control and adjustments, dynamically reviewed market conditions, and continued to cultivate high-demand, high-load-factor short-haul markets such as Japan and South Korea, ensuring overall network profitability.

Starlux Airlines' April revenue was NT$4.68 billion, a 30% year-on-year increase, marking its strongest April and third-highest monthly revenue. Cumulative revenue for the first four months reached NT$18.44 billion, a 25% year-on-year increase.

In terms of passenger transport, Starlux Airlines' April passenger revenue was NT$3.701 billion, a 28% year-on-year increase. Driven by the Qingming holiday and spring travel demand, the overall passenger load factor remained stable. In terms of cargo transport, April cargo revenue was NT$520 million, a 20% month-on-month increase and a 38% year-on-year increase. Benefiting from the global AI wave and strong demand for cloud infrastructure, the export momentum of related electronic products and high-value goods was robust.

Regarding its fleet, Starlux Airlines stated that its seventh A330-900 was delivered to Taiwan in mid-April, and the eighth A330-900 is expected to be introduced in mid-May. Starlux Airlines will actively expand its network and flights from June to July to welcome the summer travel peak.
