The Presidential Office today issued a presidential order to promulgate the special act.

The Executive Yuan submitted a draft of the "Special Act for the Procurement of National Defense Resilience and Asymmetric Combat Capability Enhancement Plan" with an 8-year term and a budget of NT$1.25 trillion to the Legislative Yuan for review on November 27 last year.

After nearly half a year, the Legislative Yuan on the 8th passed the third reading of the "Special Act for the Procurement of National Security and Asymmetric Combat Capability Enhancement Plan," proposed by the opposition party, with a budget ceiling of NT$780 billion. Among this, the first wave of US arms procurement has a budget ceiling of NT$300 billion, and the second wave has a budget ceiling of NT$480 billion, excluding commercial purchases and commissioned manufacturing projects.
