TAIPEI (CNA) – Fubon Media Technology (momo) announced April revenue of NT$8.28 billion, an annual increase of 1.32%, setting a new record for the same period in previous years. Fubon Media stated that the warming demand for spring/summer seasonal changes and the early launch of Mother's Day campaigns boosted consumption, driving stable growth in sales categories such as home appliances, tickets, and festive goods.

momo's cumulative revenue for the first four months of this year reached NT$34.87 billion, an annual increase of 0.86%. momo stated today via press release that April benefited from the heightened demand for spring/summer seasonal changes and the early start of Mother's Day campaigns, leading to increased consumer buying, particularly in beauty, health, and home appliance categories. As the Mother's Day campaign enters its peak, related category demand is expected to increase further in May.

Regarding private label products, momo noted that it continues to expand high-frequency demand categories such as household daily necessities, kitchenware, and general consumer goods. Through product development and selection optimization, private label sales in April grew nearly 30% compared to the same period last year.

momo recently announced its Q1 financial report, with revenue of NT$26.59 billion and net profit attributable to parent company owners of NT$640 million, an annual decrease of 25.1%. Earnings per share (EPS) were NT$2.43. momo told CNA reporters that the Q1 profit decrease was due to a one-time investment tax credit recognized in Q1 last year, which inflated that period's profit base. Excluding this one-time factor, core business profits are still growing steadily.

Looking ahead to Q2 this year, momo General Manager Kuo Yuan-hung stated that the company will focus on the 618 mid-year shopping festival and summer demand, continuing to expand its fast delivery and installation services for large home appliances, and further refining logistics and consumer experience to drive business growth.

PChome announced April revenue of NT$2.999 billion today, an annual increase of 10.35%, setting a new four-year record for the same period. PChome told CNA reporters that April revenue growth benefited from the continuing wave of AI applications, which drove consumer demand for high-performance equipment, leading to increased sales of motherboards, memory, and DIY computer components.

Additionally, the early onset of Mother's Day demand led to stable sales performance for mobile phone brands, robot vacuum cleaners, and dining and accommodation vouchers. With seasonal changes and increased demand for holiday travel, sales of travel-related department store goods also grew, contributing diverse momentum to April revenue.
