(Central News Agency reporter He Hsiu-Ling, Taipei, 11th) Lih Feng-KY, which owns the beauty brand Chlitina, announced today a change in its chairman. Former chairman Chen Bi-Hua has stepped down, and her son, Chao Cheng-Yu, the current CEO and General Manager of the group, has taken over. Lih Feng stated that this handover symbolizes the group's entry into a development stage focused on intelligence, youth, and internationalization.

Lih Feng stated in a press release that after stepping down, Chen Bi-Hua will continue to serve as a group director and as Chief Product Advisor, continuing to participate in product research and development and brand development.

Lih Feng pointed out that the group primarily operates Chlitina beauty chain franchise stores. The "CHLITINA" brand was founded by Chen Bi-Hua's father, Chen Wu-Kang, in Taiwan in 1989 and entered the mainland Chinese market in 1997. Under Chen Bi-Hua's leadership, the first directly operated store was opened in Shanghai in 1999, rapidly expanding its layout in the mainland Chinese market through a franchise model.

In 2002, an independent R&D and supply chain center was established in Songjiang, Shanghai, gradually realizing self-sufficiency in product R&D and manufacturing. In 2013, Lih Feng-KY was listed in Taiwan, becoming the first beauty chain enterprise listed in the Taiwanese capital market, gradually growing into an international beauty group spanning both sides of the Taiwan Strait and the Southeast Asian market.

As for Chao Cheng-Yu, the third generation of the group, he joined the group in 2008, growing from a product manager to various roles including special assistant to the chairman and group brand spokesperson, and was appointed CEO and General Manager in 2019. (Editor: Pan Yi-Ching) 1150511
