The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a press release this afternoon stating that Tuvalu's Minister of Transport, Energy, Communications and Innovation, Simon Kofe, and his wife, were invited by the government to lead a delegation to Taiwan from the 10th to the 14th. The delegation comprises four members, including Tuvalu Telecom General Manager Tenanoia Veronica Simona, and Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Energy, Communications and Innovation, Lauti Wayne Ako (also translated as Ako). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that this visit marks Kofe's third trip to Taiwan. During Kofe's current visit to Taiwan, both sides will continue to exchange views on related cooperation issues to further deepen the partnership between the two countries in the digital and communications fields.
