The Tainan City Health Bureau yesterday discovered suspected pinhole camera equipment in a smoke detector on the ceiling of a beauty room at Yan Yi Ming Medical Aesthetics Clinic in the West Central District, which was then transferred to the police for investigation. After questioning, the Tainan District Prosecutors Office ordered the clinic's owner, surnamed Wu, to be released on bail of NT$300,000, and the store manager, surnamed Liu, on bail of NT$50,000.

The Pingtung County Health Bureau today issued a statement saying that Yan Yi Ming in Pingtung is commercially registered as a beauty and body care business, not a medical aesthetics clinic.
