Germany reportedly restarts US Tomahawk missile purchase, hoping for Trump administration approval

(Central News Agency, Berlin, 10th, comprehensive foreign report) The British "Financial Times" today quoted informed sources as reporting that Germany is restarting its plan to purchase Tomahawk cruise missiles from the United States.

The "Financial Times" pointed out that Germany hopes to persuade the U.S. President Trump administration to agree to sell Tomahawk cruise missiles and their Typhon ground-based missile launch systems.

According to the report, German Defense Minister Pistorius is planning to visit Washington to revive the German government's proposal to purchase long-range weapon systems.
