(Central News Agency reporter Wu Chia-Hao, Taipei, 10th) Due to rising international oil prices caused by the Middle East situation, CPC Corporation, Taiwan, has announced that gasoline and diesel prices will remain unchanged from the 11th, to care for domestic livelihoods and stabilize prices. Formosa Petrochemical Corporation today followed suit with a price freeze, stating that wholesale prices for gasoline and diesel will not be adjusted from 1 AM on the 11th, and market retail prices will be determined by franchised gas stations.
From 1 AM on May 11th, the reference retail prices at Formosa franchised gas stations will be NT$32.4 per liter for 92 unleaded gasoline, NT$33.9 per liter for 95+ unleaded gasoline, NT$35.9 per liter for 98 unleaded gasoline, and NT$30.8 per liter for super diesel. (Edited by Tsai Su-Jung) 1150510
