The Changhua County Fire Department stated that the scene was a burning pile of waste in a corrugated iron warehouse, with a burnt floor area of approximately 2,000 square meters. 24 fire trucks, 1 ambulance, 53 firefighters, 1 drone, and 3 firefighting robots were dispatched for full-scale rescue. The fire was brought under control at 1:50 PM and extinguished at 3:59 PM. No one was injured or trapped at the scene, and no related personnel were present.

The Changhua County Environmental Protection Bureau issued a message stating that a factory fire occurred around 11 AM in the vicinity of Lunwei Lane, Lukang Township, and personnel were immediately dispatched to monitor the scene. The Central Regional Branch of the Directorate General of Highways, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, issued a message stating that due to a factory fire next to the service road at 174.5 kilometers on both directions of Provincial Highway 61, Yangcuo section, thick smoke led to poor visibility. In cooperation with the fire department's handling of the fire, Provincial Highway 61 northbound from 175 to 174 kilometers, Yangcuo to Xianxi section, was closed.
