Today is Mazu's birthday, and many temples in New Taipei City held parades and prayers; Mayor Hou Yu-ih went to Banqiao Cihui Temple early in the morning to offer incense, thanking the temple for its charitable acts, donating epidemic prevention supplies, and donating an earthquake experience vehicle and a resource recycling vehicle to the city government.
