(Central News Agency reporter Guan Rui-ping, Miaoli County, 8th) Miaoli County's Weigong Memorial Hospital and Genesis Social Welfare Foundation's Miaoli branch are jointly organizing a parent-child charity fair, which will take place on the 31st at Zhunan Sports Park. They hope to promote health concepts and raise public awareness for the care of vulnerable groups through educational and entertaining activities.

Miaoli County Deputy Magistrate Chiu Li-li, Weigong Hospital Superintendent Lee Wen-yuan, Genesis Miaoli Branch Director Chen Lu-rong, and others today held a launching ceremony for the "Genesis 40th Anniversary: Guarding Health, Lighting Hope, ESG Parent-Child Charity Fair" in the lobby of Weigong Hospital. They invited the public to attend performances, browse stalls, and support charity from 1 PM to 5 PM on the 31st at Zhunan Sports Park.

Lee Wen-yuan stated that health is not limited to medical care but requires long-term accumulation from daily life and education. This fair is the first collaboration between Genesis and a medical institution. Weigong Hospital will set up health promotion stalls, provide bone density screening services, and combine with "World No Tobacco Day" on May 31st to plan health challenges, promoting smoking cessation and healthy living concepts. In addition, the hospital's affiliated "Happy House Sheltered Workshop" will also hold a charity sale on-site, with all proceeds donated to the Genesis Social Welfare Foundation for public welfare use.

Chen Lu-rong pointed out that families of vegetative patients bear heavy long-term care pressure. Genesis continues to provide 24-hour nursing and home care services to help alleviate family burdens. This parent-child fair is planned with ESG principles, inviting companies to respond, bringing charity into daily life, cultivating children's care and empathy from an early age, implementing the sustainable spirit of "education transforming the future," and demonstrating corporate social responsibility.

Genesis Miaoli Branch said that the fair plans diverse stalls, parent-child challenges, and stage performances, creating an interactive space that integrates education, health, and charity. Each fair ticket costs 100 NTD. Three tickets can be exchanged for a woven pony charm, five tickets for 1.2 kg of Stone Tiger Rice, and ten tickets for an additional helmet (limited quantity). There is also a chance to win grand prizes such as a stay in a suite at Shangmu Shiguang Hot Spring Hotel. The public is welcome to support charity with action and light up more hope for society.
