Taiwan Railways announced that repairs have been completed, and services resumed from 6:15 PM tonight.

Taiwan Railways Company explained through a message that at 9:50 AM today, they received a report that the main overhead line between Chaozhou and Nanzhou had broken for about 100 meters, causing a temporary service suspension. The company immediately established a first-level emergency response team and a southern region response subgroup. Some trains were suspended, and bus transfers were arranged between Chaozhou and Fangliao.

Taiwan Railways originally scheduled repairs to be completed by 7:00 PM, but they were finished ahead of schedule. Services resumed from 6:15 PM. Taiwan Railways stated that southbound trains would resume normal operation from train 3331, and northbound trains from train 386.
