(Central News Agency reporter Huang Chiao-wen, Taipei, 8th) A catenary fault between Chaozhou and Nanzhou on Taiwan Railways today morning has temporarily halted operations. Taiwan Railways Company apologized and stated that a road shuttle service has been initiated between Chaozhou and Fangliao, and personnel have been dispatched to the site for full-effort repairs.
Taiwan Railways explained through a message that at 9:50 AM today, they received a report that due to a catenary fault between Chaozhou and Nanzhou, the line is temporarily out of service. Taiwan Railways Company immediately established a first-level emergency response team and a southern regional response subgroup. A road shuttle service has been initiated between Chaozhou and Fangliao.
