According to AFP, Nintendo stated that starting May 25, the price of Switch 2 in Japan will increase by 20%. In the US and Europe, prices will increase from September 1, with the former rising by 11% to $499.99, and the latter by 6% to €499.99.

Nintendo estimates that net profit for the fiscal year ending March next year will decline by 27% to 310 billion yen (approximately $1.98 billion), while revenue will slide by 11.4% to 2.05 trillion yen.

In addition, Nintendo estimates operating profit to be 370 billion yen, far below the average estimate of 480 billion yen by analysts surveyed by Bloomberg News.

Nintendo stated in a press release that last year's net profit grew by 52% to 424 billion yen, and annual revenue reached 2.31 trillion yen, almost double the previous year.
