(Central News Agency, Taipei, 8th) MediaTek announced today that MediaTek and its Singapore subsidiary have acquired software and non-exclusive licensed intangible assets for operational use.

MediaTek stated that it invested NT$684 million (approximately US$21.6 million) to acquire these assets from Imagination Technologies Limited, ARM Limited, and Synopsys International Limited. Its Singapore subsidiary, MediaTek Singapore Pte. Ltd., invested NT$586 million (approximately US$18.5 million) to acquire assets from Imagination Technologies Limited and ARM Limited.

MediaTek's first-quarter revenue was NT$149.151 billion, a quarterly decrease of 0.7%. With changes in its product mix, the first-quarter gross profit margin was 46.3%, an increase of 0.2 percentage points from the fourth quarter of 2025. Net profit attributable to the parent company was NT$24.154 billion, a quarterly increase of 5.36%, and earnings per share were NT$15.17. MediaTek previously stated in its investor conference that it expects second-quarter revenue to be flat to decrease by 6% compared to the first quarter, but annual dollar revenue is expected to grow by 4% to 9%.1150508
