The Kaohsiung City Government Department of Rapid Transit Systems announced that after the Executive Yuan approved the comprehensive plan for the Xiaogang-Linyuan Line on September 23, 2022 (ROC year 111), the city government simultaneously initiated design work and proceeded with the bidding and award processes for various electromechanical, design, and civil construction projects.
Among them, the electromechanical and track bids for the Xiaogang-Linyuan Line were completed in 2023 (ROC year 112).
