(Central News Agency reporter Wang Yang-yu, Taipei, 8th) On the eve of Mother's Day, Pingtung County Legislator Hsu Fu-kuei of the Democratic Progressive Party today joined hands with the Pingtung County Government and the Pingtung County Farmers' Association to hold an agricultural product marketing and sales exhibition at the Legislative Yuan Plaza, inviting people nationwide to purchase high-quality agricultural products from Pingtung as the most natural and safest gift for their mothers.

Hsu Fu-kuei, the Pingtung County Government, and the Pingtung County Farmers' Association today held the "Pingtung County Onion Pineapple Indigenous Mango Agricultural Product Marketing and Sales Exhibition" at the Legislative Yuan Plaza, inviting the public to buy the freshest and healthiest local agricultural products on the eve of Mother's Day. Hsu Fu-kuei also worked with Liao Zhan-yi, General Manager of the Pingtung County Farmers' Association, to create creative dishes using seasonal ingredients from Pingtung, including pineapples, onions, and indigenous mangoes.

Hsu Fu-kuei stated that Pingtung County possesses unique climatic and soil conditions, making it one of Taiwan's important agricultural production areas. This event selected high-quality agricultural products such as onions, pineapples, and indigenous mangoes that are abundant in season, hoping to allow consumers to purchase the freshest ingredients directly from local farmers, not only supporting local agriculture but also adding health and deliciousness to Mother's Day dining tables. He also reminded the Council of Agriculture to actively assist in marketing mangoes and various other agricultural products from Pingtung.

The Pingtung County Government and the Pingtung County Farmers' Association mentioned that they will continue to promote agricultural product marketing activities in the future, combining festivals and market demands to create agricultural product brand value, assist farmers in expanding sales channels, and promote sustainable agricultural development.
