China Airlines today announced its first-quarter financial report, with consolidated revenue of NT$56.997 billion, consolidated operating net profit of NT$6.436 billion, an annual increase of 13.89%. After-tax net profit was NT$5.848 billion, an annual increase of 25.6%. Net profit attributable to the parent company was NT$5.169 billion, and EPS was NT$0.85. Both net profit and EPS set the second-highest record for a single quarter and the highest for the same period in history.
