Canon Inc. today announced its Q1 financial report. Net profit attributable to owners of the parent company in Q1 was NT$236 million, a 171% increase from NT$87 million in the same period last year. Earnings per share (EPS) reached NT$0.73, surpassing last year's NT$0.27. Revenue for the first four months was NT$3.737 billion, a 73.2% increase from the same period last year.
