Taichung City Police Department's Second Precinct stated today that officers from the Yongxing Police Station were patrolling at 7:39 PM on the 6th when they found 41-year-old Xu illegally parked in a private car on a red line at the intersection of Weidao Road and Wuchang Street in Beitun District, and immediately approached to investigate.

Police stated that after Xu got out of the car, he became agitated and physically assaulted an officer, reaching the level of coercion and intimidation. Police immediately arrested him and found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a sharpened samurai sword in the car.
